Arm Update

sandycombsJust a quick update about Mom's broken arm. Don't click on the cut unless you want to see an x-ray!
This isn't Mom's actual x-ray, but it's very close to what hers looks like. The picture I tried to take didn't come out so well.
They are not going to do surgery or cast it. The doctor said the break was in a good position and if she keeps her arm immobile it should heal just fine on it's own. I've been quoting the doctor all over the place. She said "it's gonna suck for about a month." I love that she was so honest with us! This was almost exactly the outcome we had hoped for. At 91, surgery was the very last option. I just wish there was some way to make it not hurt so much while it's healing. :-\
