Christopher Robin

To celebrate my birthday, Hubby took me out to lunch at my favorite catfish restaurant and then we went to the movies.
My lunch, if you're interested:

Christopher Robin is a delightful movie. It started off a little slow, but by the end I was completely charmed. Ewan McGregor was wonderfully cast as the titular character and the voice actors chosen to play the iconic stuffed animals were spot on and comfortingly familiar. I wouldn't hesitate to take any child to see Christopher Robin, although younger children might become restless during the first 20 to 30 minutes or so after the opening scenes. ETA: Christopher Robin's subordinates continually addressed him as "Mr. Robin" instead of "Mr. Milne." I found this to be quite distracting, as well as a bit irritating, until I was able to convince myself the screenwriter was employing poet license.
