Things always work out the way they're supposed to, I guess. It wasn't in the cards for me to have surgery last week, and it turned out to be a lucky thing. My car decided to crater at the most inconvenient time (is there ever a convenient time?). If we had spent money on the surgery we wouldn't have had the funds yesterday to buy Scarlet! Ain't she a beaut?
