Learning All About Me
Did my DNA. Interesting experiment for someone who was adopted. I definitely recommend it. If I get the 23 and Me kit I want for Christmas I'll learn some medical stuff, too.
Seems I'm British and German with just a touch of Irish and Norwegian thrown in for good measure. Doesn't get much whiter than that! 🤣 Apparently my ancestors came to New England in the early 1700s. Cool!
Haven't found any blood relatives, though. There's one kid who's probably a second cousin and that's about it. A bit disappointing. Not that I really expected to actually FIND anyone, but it did cross my mind... A lot.
And, egad! I'm a Yankee! Look at those migrations! 😲 As a good Southern girl, how am I supposed to live with THAT? LOL
