Surgeries: Four. Wisdom teeth, C-section, hysterectomy, and fistula repair

Tattoos: None. I don’t understand the current tattoo trend.

Piercings: I got my ears pierced when I was 13. Stopped wearing earrings in my 40s and now the holes have closed up.

Quit a job: I quit a few after school jobs, but the only big job I ever quit was when I left the workforce to open my printing company.

Been to an Island: Not one in the middle of the ocean, but I’ve been to Galveston Island.

Favorite Drink: Unsweetened iced tea

Fallen in Love: Oh yes, and I married him!

Rode in ambulance: Yes, two days before my 7th birthday our car got hit by a cement truck running a red light. No one was seriously injured, but my sister and I both left big round cracks in the windshield and my birthday party got cancelled.

Been on a Cruise: Yes, we cruised from Seattle to Alaska last year

Rode on a motorcycle: Yes. In Texas you can get your motorcycle license when you’re 15. My motorcycle was how I got around before I got my driver’s license.

Rode on a horse: Yes, we owned horses when I was a kid
